Jayana, Beneteau Sense 50 2012, #69

We are selling our magnificent Beneteau Sense 50 sailboat which has successfully sailed the seas and oceans. With quality equipment and solid construction, this sailboat has been our home for many amazing adventures. We acquired Jayana new in 2012 and we lived aboard full time for almost 4 years and covered 30,000 nautical miles during our ownership. All equipment has been regularly maintained and is in perfect working order. Jayana having participated in two ocean crossings under the aegis of the ARC, you can be sure that you are buying a boat ready to set out again on new adventures with all the safety equipment necessary to navigate in complete safety.

Jayana is equipped to travel with the greatest comfort: air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, generator, watermaker, rigid dinghy with console and steering wheel, cockpit with table convertible into a sunbed, etc. The saloon can easily be converted into a dance floor or a home theater thanks to a modular table and a unique entertainment system for a boat. At the end of the day, exhausted after a busy day, you will be welcomed horizontally on a Tempur-pedic Cloud Breeze mattress to sleep like if you were on a cloud.

The Beneteau Sense features a unique design among monohulls. The living spaces on board are arranged with rest areas separated from the living areas. Thus, the cockpit has been lowered to sacrifice the cabins at the rear of the boat. This decision makes it possible to fit out a much larger cockpit than a traditional monohull separated by only three steps from the saloon. Thus, communications are possible between the occupants of the saloon and the cockpit, which is unprecedented on a monohull. The aft cabins are replaced by huge lockers, to accommodate the technical areas of the boat (engine access, generator, watermaker, A/C, pumps, electrical panels). Above all, it is a vast space to store spare parts, sails, tools and all the games you will want to bring on your trip. (diving, fishing, cycling, surfing, etc.) The lowered cockpit offers increased safety when crossing, being placed much closer to the boat’s center of gravity. The hull of the boat is more efficient than the Oceanis range and inspired from racing boats. It’s a boat that sails effortlessly at 8 knots and in general your speed will be between 50-70% of TWS, depending on your sails and AWA. Light air performance is great with the Code 0, which is a must for sailing in the Mediterranean.

The tender with Eurohelm console allows you to move around in comfort and elegance. A powerful 20hp engine ensures planing speed with 5 occupants on board. You will appreciate the luxury of an electric starter as well as a button to modify the inclination of the engine.

This sailboat can comfortably accommodate up to six people in three separate cabins.

More than $88,000 have been invested in 2022 to renew many components: windlass, batteries, running and standing rigging, code 0, bimini, lazy jack, cockpit upholstery, etc. Jayana ends her current voyage in June ’23 and can be delivered anywhere between Miami and Lake Champlain. She will be ready to leave immediately for new adventures.
